The statue of a naked Hercules with his club in a traditional pose on a stone pyramid atop an octagonal castle is Kassel's chief tourist attraction. The artificial cascades below the castle end in a wide swath that leads to another castle. Beyond that the swath becomes a city boulevard, the Wilhelmshöher Allee.
